1ThereforeΔιὸinexcusableἀναπολόγητοςyou areεἶ,Oὦmanἄνθρωπεeach oneπᾶςwhoὁis judgingκρίνων·Inἐνthat whichᾧforγὰρyou judgeκρίνειςtheτὸνotherἕτερον,yourselfσεαυτὸνyou are condemningκατακρίνεις,τὰforγὰρthe same thingsαὐτὰyou doπράσσειςthe [one]ὁjudgingκρίνων·
2We knowοἴδαμενhoweverδὲthatὅτιtheτὸjudgmentκρίματοῦof Godθεοῦisἐστινaccording toκατὰtruthἀλήθειανuponἐπὶthoseτοὺςτὰsuch thingsτοιαῦταpracticingπράσσοντας.
3Suppose youλογίζῃnowδὲthisτοῦτο,Oὦmanἄνθρωπεthe [one]ὁjudgingκρίνωνthoseτοὺςτὰsuch thingsτοιαῦταpracticingπράσσονταςandκαὶdoingποιῶνthem [yourself]αὐτά,thatὅτιyouσὺwill escapeἐκφεύξῃtheτὸjudgmentκρίματοῦof Godθεοῦ;
4Orἢtheτοῦrichesπλούτουof theτῆςkindnessχρηστότητοςof Himαὐτοῦandκαὶtheτῆςforbearanceἀνοχῆςandκαὶtheτῆςpatienceμακροθυμίαςdespise youκαταφρονεῖς,not knowingἀγνοῶνthatὅτιtheτὸkindnessχρηστὸντοῦof Godθεοῦtoεἰςrepentanceμετάνοιάνyouσεleadsἄγει;
5Because ofκατὰhoweverδὲtheτὴνhardnessσκληρότητάof youσουandκαὶunrepentantἀμετανόητονheartκαρδίανyou are treasuring upθησαυρίζειςto yourselfσεαυτῷwrathὀργὴνinἐν[the] dayἡμέρᾳof wrathὀργῆςandκαὶrevelationἀποκαλύψεωςof righteous judgementδικαιοκρισίαςτοῦof Godθεοῦ,
6whoὃςwill giveἀποδώσειto eachἑκάστῳaccording toκατὰtheτὰworksἔργαof himαὐτοῦ·
7to those whoτοῖςindeedμὲνwithκαθ’enduranceὑπομονὴνin workἔργουgoodἀγαθοῦgloryδόξανandκαὶhonorτιμὴνandκαὶimmortalityἀφθαρσίανare seekingζητοῦσινlifeζωὴνeternalαἰώνιον·
8to thoseτοῖςhoweverδὲofἐξself-interestἐριθείαςandκαὶdisobeyingἀπειθοῦσιtheτῇtruthἀληθείᾳbeing persuaded aboutπειθομένοιςhoweverδὲτῇunrighteousnessἀδικίᾳwrathὀργὴandκαὶangerθυμός,
9tribulationθλῖψιςandκαὶdistressστενοχωρία,uponἐπὶeveryπᾶσανsoulψυχὴνof manἀνθρώπουτοῦworkingκατεργαζομένουτὸevilκακόν,of JewishἸουδαίουbothτεfirstπρῶτονand alsoκαὶof GreekἝλληνος·
10gloryδόξαhoweverδὲandκαὶhonorτιμὴandκαὶpeaceεἰρήνηto everyoneπαντὶτῷdoingἐργαζομένῳτὸgoodἀγαθόν,to JewishἸουδαίῳbothτεfirstπρῶτονandκαὶto GreekἝλληνι·
11Notοὐforγάρthere isἐστινpartialityπροσωπολημψίαwithπαρὰτῷGodθεῷ.
12As many asὍσοιforγὰρwithout [the] Lawἀνόμωςhave sinnedἥμαρτον,without [the] Lawἀνόμωςalsoκαὶwill perishἀπολοῦνται·andκαὶas many asὅσοιinἐν[the] Lawνόμῳhave sinnedἥμαρτον,byδιὰ[the] Lawνόμουwill be judgedκριθήσονται·
13notοὐforγὰρtheοἱhearersἀκροαταὶof [the] law [are]νόμουrighteousδίκαιοιwithπαρὰτῷGodθεῷ,butἀλλ’theοἱdoersποιηταὶof [the] lawνόμουwill be justifiedδικαιωθήσονται.
14WhenὅτανforγὰρGentilesἔθνητὰnotμὴthe lawνόμονhavingἔχονταby natureφύσειthe thingsτὰof theτοῦlawνόμουdoποιῶσιν,theseοὗτοι[the] Lawνόμονnotμὴhavingἔχοντεςto themselvesἑαυτοῖςareεἰσινa lawνόμος·
15whoοἵτινεςshowἐνδείκνυνταιtheτὸworkἔργονof theτοῦlawνόμουwrittenγραπτὸνinἐνtheταῖςheartsκαρδίαιςof themαὐτῶν,bearing witnessσυμμαρτυρούσηςtheirαὐτῶντῆςconscienceσυνειδήσεωςandκαὶbetweenμεταξὺone anotherἀλλήλωνtheτῶνthoughtsλογισμῶνaccusingκατηγορούντωνorἢalsoκαὶdefending [them]ἀπολογουμένων,
16onἐνdayἡμέρᾳwhenὅτεwill judgeκρίνειὁGodθεὸςtheτὰsecretsκρυπτὰτῶνof menἀνθρώπωνaccording toκατὰtheτὸgospelεὐαγγέλιόνof meμουbyδιὰChristΧριστοῦJesusἸησοῦ.
17IfΕἰhoweverδὲyouσὺa JewἸουδαῖοςare calledἐπονομάζῃandκαὶrely onἐπαναπαύῃ[the] lawνόμῳandκαὶboastκαυχᾶσαιinἐνGodθεῷ
18andκαὶknowγινώσκειςtheτὸwillθέλημαandκαὶapproveδοκιμάζειςthe thingsτὰbeing superiorδιαφέρονταbeing instructedκατηχούμενοςout ofἐκtheτοῦlawνόμου,
19are persuaded [that]πέποιθάςthenτεyou yourselfσεαυτὸνa guideὁδηγὸνareεἶναιof [the] blindτυφλῶν,a lightφῶςto thoseτῶνinἐνdarknessσκότει,
20an instructorπαιδευτὴνof [the] foolishἀφρόνων,a teacherδιδάσκαλονof infantsνηπίων,havingἔχονταtheτὴνembodimentμόρφωσιντῆςof knowledgeγνώσεωςandκαὶof theτῆςtruthἀληθείαςinἐνtheτῷlawνόμῳ—
21[you]ὁthenοὖνteachingδιδάσκωνanotherἕτερονyourselfσεαυτὸνnotοὐdo you teachδιδάσκεις;Youὁpreachingκηρύσσωνnotμὴto stealκλέπτεινdo you stealκλέπτεις;
22Youὁsayingλέγωνnotμὴto commit adulteryμοιχεύεινdo you commit adulteryμοιχεύεις;Youὁabhorringβδελυσσόμενοςτὰidolsεἴδωλαdo you rob templesἱεροσυλεῖς;
23You whoὃςinἐνlawνόμῳboastκαυχᾶσαι,throughδιὰtheτῆςtransgressionπαραβάσεωςof theτοῦlawνόμουτὸνGodθεὸνdishonor youἀτιμάζεις;
24τὸForγὰρ[The] nameὄνοματοῦof Godθεοῦthroughδι’youὑμᾶςis blasphemedβλασφημεῖταιamongἐνtheτοῖςGentilesἔθνεσιν,asκαθὼςit has been writtenγέγραπται.
25CircumcisionΠεριτομὴindeedμὲνγὰρprofitsὠφελεῖifἐὰν[the] lawνόμονyou doπράσσῃς·ifἐὰνhoweverδὲa transgressorπαραβάτηςof lawνόμουyou areᾖς,theἡcircumcisionπεριτομήof youσουuncircumcisionἀκροβυστίαhas becomeγέγονεν.
26Ifἐὰνthereforeοὖνtheἡuncircumcisionἀκροβυστίαtheτὰrequirementsδικαιώματαof theτοῦlawνόμουkeepsφυλάσσῃ,notοὐχtheἡuncircumcisionἀκροβυστίαof himαὐτοῦforεἰςcircumcisionπεριτομὴνwill be reckonedλογισθήσεται;
27Andκαὶwill judgeκρινεῖtheἡbyἐκnatureφύσεωςuncircumcisionἀκροβυστίαtheτὸνlawνόμονfulfillingτελοῦσαyouσὲwhoτὸνwithδιὰ[the] letterγράμματοςandκαὶcircumcisionπεριτομῆς[are] a transgressorπαραβάτηνof lawνόμου.
28Notοὐforγὰρthe [one]ὁonἐνtheτῷoutwardφανερῷa JewἸουδαῖόςisἐστιν,neitherοὐδὲthe [one]ἡoutwardlyἐνtheτῷoutwardφανερῷinἐνfleshσαρκὶ[is] circumcisionπεριτομή·
29butἀλλ’he who [is]ὁonἐνtheτῷinwardκρυπτῷa Jew [is one]Ἰουδαῖος,andκαὶcircumcision [is]περιτομὴof heartκαρδίαςinἐνspiritπνεύματιnotοὐin letterγράμματι,of whomοὗtheὁpraiseἔπαινος[is] notοὐκofἐξmenἀνθρώπωνbutἀλλ’ofἐκτοῦGodθεοῦ.
