Luke 8:13

13Thoseοἱnowδὲuponἐπὶtheτῆςrockπέτραςthose whoοἳwhenὅτανthey hearἀκούσωσινwithμετὰjoyχαρᾶςreceiveδέχονταιtheτὸνwordλόγον,andκαὶtheseοὗτοιa rootῥίζανnotοὐκhaveἔχουσιν,whoοἳforπρὸςa timeκαιρὸνbelieveπιστεύουσινandκαὶinἐνtimeκαιρῷof testingπειρασμοῦfall awayἀφίστανται.

And the ones upon the rock [are] those who, when they may hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a time, and in time of testing they fall away.
