Luke 8:14

14Thatτὸnowδὲintoεἰςtheτὰςthornsἀκάνθαςhaving fallenπεσόν,theseοὗτοίareεἰσινthoseοἱhaving heardἀκούσαντες,andκαὶunderὑπὸcaresμεριμνῶνandκαὶrichesπλούτουandκαὶpleasuresἡδονῶντοῦof lifeβίουmoving alongπορευόμενοιare chokedσυμπνίγονταιandκαὶnotοὐdo matureτελεσφοροῦσιν.

And the [seed] having fallen into the thorns, these are those having heard, and, going along, are choked under the anxieties and riches and pleasures of life, and they do not mature.
