Luke 8:12

12Thoseοἱnowδὲalongπαρὰtheτὴνroadὁδόνareεἰσινthoseοἱhaving heardἀκούσαντες,thenεἶταcomesἔρχεταιtheὁdevilδιάβολοςandκαὶtakes awayαἴρειtheτὸνwordλόγονfromἀπὸtheτῆςheartκαρδίαςof themαὐτῶν,thatἵναnotμὴhaving believedπιστεύσαντεςthey should be savedσωθῶσιν.

And the ones along the path are those having heard; then the devil comes and takes away the word from their heart, lest having believed, they should be saved.
