Romans 9:15

15ToτῷMosesΜωϋσεῖforγὰρHe saysλέγει·I will show mercy toἘλεήσωwhomὃνἂνI may show mercyἐλεῶ,andκαὶI will have compassion onοἰκτιρήσωwhomὃνἂνI may have compassionοἰκτίρω.

For He says to Moses: “I will have mercy on whom I may have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I may have compassion.”
