Revelation 17
1AndΚαὶcameἦλθενoneεἷςofἐκtheτῶνsevenἑπτὰangelsἀγγέλωντῶνhavingἐχόντωνtheτὰςsevenἑπτὰbowlsφιάλας,andκαὶspokeἐλάλησενwithμετ’meἐμοῦsayingλέγων·Come hereΔεῦρο,I will showδείξωyouσοιtheτὸpunishmentκρίμαof theτῆςprostituteπόρνηςτῆςgreatμεγάληςthe [one]τῆςsittingκαθημένηςuponἐπὶwatersὑδάτωνmanyπολλῶν,
2withμεθ’whomἧςhave committed sexual immoralityἐπόρνευσανtheοἱkingsβασιλεῖςof theτῆςearthγῆς,andκαὶhave been made drunkἐμεθύσθησανthose thatοἱdwellingκατοικοῦντεςon theτὴνearthγῆνwithἐκtheτοῦwineοἴνουof theτῆςsexual immoralityπορνείαςof herαὐτῆς.
3Andκαὶhe carried awayἀπήνεγκένmeμεintoεἰςa wildernessἔρημονinἐν[the] Spiritπνεύματι.andκαὶI sawεἶδονa womanγυναῖκαsittingκαθημένηνuponἐπὶa beastθηρίονscarletκόκκινον,being fullγέμονταof namesὀνόματαof blasphemyβλασφημίας,havingἔχωνheadsκεφαλὰςsevenἑπτὰandκαὶhornsκέραταtenδέκα.
4Andκαὶtheἡwomanγυνὴwasἦνclothed inπεριβεβλημένηpurpleπορφυροῦνandκαὶscarletκόκκινον,andκαὶadornedκεχρυσωμένηwith goldχρυσίῳandκαὶstoneλίθῳpreciousτιμίῳandκαὶpearlsμαργαρίταις,holdingἔχουσαa cupποτήριονgoldenχρυσοῦνinἐνtheτῇhandχειρὶof herαὐτῆςbeing fullγέμονof abominationsβδελυγμάτωνandκαὶtheτὰimpurityἀκάθαρταof theτῆςsexual immoralityπορνείαςof herαὐτῆς,
5Andκαὶuponἐπὶtheτὸforeheadμέτωπονof herαὐτῆςa nameὄνομαwas writtenγεγραμμένον,a mysteryμυστήριον,BabylonΒαβυλὼνtheἡGreatμεγάλη,theἡmotherμήτηρof theτῶνprostitutesπορνῶνandκαὶof theτῶνabominationsβδελυγμάτωνof theτῆςearthγῆς.
6AndκαὶI sawεἶδονtheτὴνwomanγυναῖκαbeing drunkμεθύουσανwithἐκtheτοῦbloodαἵματοςof theτῶνsaintsἁγίωνandκαὶwithἐκtheτοῦbloodαἵματοςof theτῶνwitnessesμαρτύρωνof JesusἸησοῦ.AndΚαὶI marveledἐθαύμασαhaving seenἰδὼνherαὐτὴνwith wonderθαῦμαgreatμέγα·
7Andκαὶsaidεἶπένto meμοιtheὁangelἄγγελος·Because ofΔιὰwhyτίdid you marvelἐθαύμασας;Iἐγὼwill tellἐρῶyouσοιtheτὸmysteryμυστήριονof theτῆςwomanγυναικὸςandκαὶof theτοῦbeastθηρίουτοῦcarryingβαστάζοντοςherαὐτήν,τοῦhavingἔχοντοςtheτὰςsevenἑπτὰheadsκεφαλὰςandκαὶtheτὰtenδέκαhornsκέρατα·
8Theτὸbeastθηρίονthatὃyou sawεἶδεςwasἦνandκαὶnotοὐκisἔστιν,andκαὶis aboutμέλλειto come upἀναβαίνεινout ofἐκtheτῆςabyssἀβύσσου,andκαὶintoεἰςdestructionἀπώλειανgoὑπάγει·andκαὶwill wonderθαυμασθήσονταιthoseοἱdwellingκατοικοῦντεςonἐπὶtheτῆςearthγῆς,whoseὧνnotοὐare writtenγέγραπταιτὸnamesὄνομαinἐπὶtheτὸbookβιβλίοντῆςof lifeζωῆςfromἀπὸ[the] foundationκαταβολῆςof [the] worldκόσμου,seeingβλεπόντωνtheτὸbeastθηρίονwhichὅτιwasἦνandκαὶnotοὐκisἔστινand yetκαὶwill beπαρέσται.
9Here [is]Ὧδεtheὁmindνοῦςὁhavingἔχωνwisdomσοφίαν.Theαἱsevenἑπτὰheadsκεφαλαὶsevenἑπτὰmountainsὄρηareεἰσίν,whereὅπουtheἡwomanγυνὴsitsκάθηταιonἐπ’themαὐτῶν.Andκαὶkingsβασιλεῖςsevenἑπτάthere areεἰσιν·
10Theοἱfiveπέντεare fallenἔπεσαν,theὁoneεἷςisἔστιν,theὁotherἄλλοςnot yetοὔπωhas comeἦλθεν,andκαὶwhenὅτανhe shall have comeἔλθῃa little whileὀλίγονhimαὐτὸνit behoovesδεῖto remainμεῖναι,
11Andκαὶtheτὸbeastθηρίονwhichὃwasἦνandκαὶnotοὐκisἔστιν.alsoκαὶhimselfαὐτὸςan eighthὄγδοόςisἐστινandκαὶofἐκtheτῶνsevenἑπτάisἐστιν,andκαὶintoεἰςdestructionἀπώλειανgoesὑπάγει.
12Andκαὶtheτὰtenδέκαhornsκέραταwhichἃyou sawεἶδεςtenδέκαkingsβασιλεῖςareεἰσιν,whoοἵτινεςa kingdomβασιλείανnot yetοὔπωhave receivedἔλαβον,butἀλλὰauthorityἐξουσίανasὡςkingsβασιλεῖςoneμίανhourὥρανreceiveλαμβάνουσινalong withμετὰtheτοῦbeastθηρίου.
13Theseοὗτοιoneμίανmindγνώμηνhaveἔχουσιν,andκαὶtheτὴνpowerδύναμινandκαὶauthorityἐξουσίανof themselvesαὐτῶνto theτῷbeastθηρίῳthey shall give upδιδόασιν.
14TheseοὗτοιwithμετὰtheτοῦLambἀρνίουwar will makeπολεμήσουσιν,andκαὶtheτὸLambἀρνίονwill overcomeνικήσειthemαὐτούς,becauseὅτιLordκύριοςof lordsκυρίωνHe isἐστὶνandκαὶKingβασιλεὺςof kingsβασιλέων,andκαὶthoseοἱwithμετ’Himαὐτοῦ[are] calledκλητοὶandκαὶchosenἐκλεκτοὶandκαὶfaithfulπιστοί.
15AndΚαὶhe saysλέγειto meμοι·TheΤὰwatersὕδαταthatἃyou sawεἶδες,whereοὗtheἡprostituteπόρνηsitsκάθηται,peoplesλαοὶandκαὶmultitudesὄχλοιareεἰσὶνandκαὶnationsἔθνηandκαὶtonguesγλῶσσαι.
16Andκαὶtheτὰtenδέκαhornsκέραταthatἃyou sawεἶδεςandκαὶtheτὸbeastθηρίον,theseοὗτοιwill hateμισήσουσιtheτὴνprostituteπόρνην,andκαὶdesolateἠρημωμένηνwill makeποιήσουσινherαὐτὴνandκαὶnakedγυμνήν,andκαὶtheτὰςfleshσάρκαςof herαὐτῆςthey will eatφάγονται,andκαὶherαὐτὴνthey will burnκατακαύσουσινwithἐνfireπυρί·
17ὁForγὰρGodθεὸςhas putἔδωκενintoεἰςtheτὰςheartsκαρδίαςof themαὐτῶνto doποιῆσαιtheτὴνpurposeγνώμηνof Himαὐτοῦ,andκαὶto doποιῆσαιoneμίανpurposeγνώμηνandκαὶto giveδοῦναιtheτὴνkingdomβασιλείανof themαὐτῶνto theτῷbeastθηρίῳ,untilἄχριwill be fulfilledτελεσθήσονταιtheοἱwordsλόγοιτοῦof Godθεοῦ.
18Andκαὶtheἡwomanγυνὴwhomἣνyou sawεἶδεςisἔστινtheἡcityπόλιςἡgreatμεγάληἡhavingἔχουσαkingshipβασιλείανoverἐπὶtheτῶνkingsβασιλέωνof theτῆςearthγῆς.
