Revelation 8

1AndΚαὶwhenὅτανHe openedἤνοιξενtheτὴνsealσφραγῖδατὴνseventhἑβδόμην,there wasἐγένετοsilenceσιγὴinἐντῷheavenοὐρανῷfor aboutὡςhalf an hourἡμιώριον.

2AndκαὶI sawεἶδονtheτοὺςsevenἑπτὰangelsἀγγέλουςwhoοἳbeforeἐνώπιοντοῦGodθεοῦstandἑστήκασιν,andκαὶwere givenἐδόθησανto themαὐτοῖςsevenἑπτὰtrumpetsσάλπιγγες.

3AndΚαὶanotherἄλλοςangelἄγγελοςcameἦλθενandκαὶstoodἐστάθηatἐπὶtheτοῦaltarθυσιαστηρίουhavingἔχωνa censerλιβανωτὸνgoldenχρυσοῦν,andκαὶwas givenἐδόθηto himαὐτῷincenseθυμιάματαmuchπολλὰthatἵναhe will offer [it]δώσειwith theταῖςprayersπροσευχαῖςof theτῶνsaintsἁγίωνallπάντωνuponἐπὶtheτὸaltarθυσιαστήριοντὸgoldenχρυσοῦντὸbeforeἐνώπιονtheτοῦthroneθρόνου.

4Andκαὶwent upἀνέβηtheὁsmokeκαπνὸςof theτῶνincenseθυμιαμάτωνwith theταῖςprayersπροσευχαῖςof theτῶνsaintsἁγίωνout ofἐκ[the] handχειρὸςof theτοῦangelἀγγέλουbeforeἐνώπιοντοῦGodθεοῦ.

5Andκαὶtookεἴληφενtheὁangelἄγγελοςtheτὸνcenserλιβανωτόν,andκαὶfilledἐγέμισενitαὐτὸνfromἐκtheτοῦfireπυρὸςof theτοῦaltarθυσιαστηρίου,andκαὶcast [it]ἔβαλενtoεἰςtheτὴνearthγῆν·andκαὶthere wereἐγένοντοthundersβρονταὶandκαὶrumblingsφωναὶandκαὶflashes of lightningἀστραπαὶandκαὶan earthquakeσεισμός.

6AndΚαὶtheοἱsevenἑπτὰangelsἄγγελοιοἱhavingἔχοντεςtheτὰςsevenἑπτὰtrumpetsσάλπιγγαςpreparedἡτοίμασανthemselvesαὑτοὺςthatἵναthey might sound the trumpetsσαλπίσωσιν.

7AndΚαὶtheὁfirstπρῶτοςsounded [his] trumpetἐσάλπισεν·andκαὶthere wasἐγένετοhailχάλαζαandκαὶfireπῦρhaving been mixedμεμιγμέναwithἐνbloodαἵματι,andκαὶit was castἐβλήθηuponεἰςtheτὴνearthγῆν·Andκαὶaτὸthirdτρίτονofτῆςthe earthγῆςwas burned upκατεκάη,andκαὶaτὸthirdτρίτονof theτῶνtreesδένδρωνwere burned upκατεκάη,andκαὶallπᾶς[the] grassχόρτοςgreenχλωρὸςwas burned upκατεκάη.

8AndΚαὶtheὁsecondδεύτεροςangelἄγγελοςsounded [his] trumpetἐσάλπισεν·andκαὶ[something] likeὡςa mountainὄροςgreatμέγαwith fireπυρὶburningκαιόμενονwas castἐβλήθηintoεἰςtheτὴνseaθάλασσαν·Andκαὶbecameἐγένετοaτὸthirdτρίτονof theτῆςseaθαλάσσηςbloodαἷμα,

9andκαὶdiedἀπέθανεaτὸthirdτρίτονof theτῶνcreaturesκτισμάτωντῶνinἐνtheτῇseaθαλάσσῃ,τὰhavingἔχονταlifeψυχάς,andκαὶaτὸthirdτρίτονof theτῶνshipsπλοίωνwere destroyedδιεφθάρησαν.

10AndΚαὶtheὁthirdτρίτοςangelἄγγελοςsounded [his] trumpetἐσάλπισεν·andκαὶfellἔπεσενout ofἐκτοῦheavenοὐρανοῦa starἀστὴρgreatμέγαςburningκαιόμενοςlikeὡςa torchλαμπάς,Andκαὶit fellἔπεσενuponἐπὶaτὸthirdτρίτονof theτῶνriversποταμῶνandκαὶuponἐπὶtheτὰςspringsπηγὰςofτῶνwatersὑδάτων.

11Andκαὶtheτὸnameὄνομαtheτοῦstarἀστέροςis calledλέγεται·ὁWormwoodἌψινθος.Andκαὶbecameἐγένετοaτὸthirdτρίτονof theτῶνwatersὑδάτωνintoεἰςwormwoodἄψινθον,andκαὶmanyπολλοὶof theτῶνmenἀνθρώπωνdiedἀπέθανονfromἐκtheτῶνwatersὑδάτων,becauseὅτιthey were made bitterἐπικράνθησαν.

12AndΚαὶtheὁfourthτέταρτοςangelἄγγελοςsounded [his] trumpetἐσάλπισεν·andκαὶwas struckἐπλήγηaτὸthirdτρίτονof theτοῦsunἡλίουandκαὶaτὸthirdτρίτονof theτῆςmoonσελήνηςandκαὶaτὸthirdτρίτονof theτῶνstarsἀστέρων,so thatἵναshould be darkenedσκοτισθῇaτὸthirdτρίτονof themαὐτῶνandκαὶtheἡdayἡμέραnotμὴshould appear [for]φάνῃaτὸthirdτρίτονof itαὐτῆς,andκαὶtheἡnightνὺξlikewiseὁμοίως.

13AndΚαὶI lookedεἶδον,andκαὶI heardἤκουσαoneἑνὸςeagleἀετοῦflyingπετομένουinἐνmid-heavenμεσουρανήματιsayingλέγοντοςin a voiceφωνῇloudμεγάλῃ·WoeΟὐαὶWoeοὐαὶWoeοὐαὶto thoseτοὺςdwellingκατοικοῦνταςonἐπὶtheτῆςearthγῆςbecause ofἐκtheτῶνremainingλοιπῶνvoicesφωνῶνof theτῆςtrumpetσάλπιγγοςof theτῶνthreeτριῶνangelsἀγγέλωντῶνbeing aboutμελλόντωνto sound [their] trumpetsσαλπίζειν.
