Revelation 12
1AndΚαὶa signσημεῖονgreatμέγαappearedὤφθηinἐντῷheavenοὐρανῷ,a womanγυνὴclothed withπεριβεβλημένηtheτὸνsunἥλιον,andκαὶtheἡmoonσελήνηunderὑποκάτωtheτῶνfeetποδῶνof herαὐτῆς,andκαὶonἐπὶtheτῆςheadκεφαλῆςof herαὐτῆςa crownστέφανοςof starsἀστέρωνtwelveδώδεκα,
2andκαὶinἐνwombγαστρὶhavingἔχουσα·Andκαὶshe cries outκράζειbeing in travailὠδίνουσαandκαὶbeing in painβασανιζομένηto bring forthτεκεῖν.
3Andκαὶwas seenὤφθηanotherἄλλοsignσημεῖονinἐντῷheavenοὐρανῷ,andκαὶbeholdἰδοὺa dragonδράκωνgreatμέγαςredπυρρός,havingἔχωνheadsκεφαλὰςsevenἑπτὰandκαὶhornsκέραταtenδέκαandκαὶuponἐπὶtheτὰςheadsκεφαλὰςof himαὐτοῦsevenἑπτὰroyal crownsδιαδήματα,
4Andκαὶtheἡtailοὐρὰof himαὐτοῦdragsσύρειaτὸthirdτρίτονof theτῶνstarsἀστέρωνofτοῦheavenοὐρανοῦ,andκαὶhe castἔβαλενthemαὐτοὺςtoεἰςtheτὴνearthγῆν.Andκαὶtheὁdragonδράκωνstandsἕστηκενbeforeἐνώπιονtheτῆςwomanγυναικὸςτῆςbeing aboutμελλούσηςto bring forthτεκεῖν,so thatἵναwhenὅτανshe should bring forthτέκῃtheτὸchildτέκνονof herαὐτῆςhe might devourκαταφάγῃ.
5Andκαὶshe brought forthἔτεκενa sonυἱόν,maleἄρσεν,whoὃςis aboutμέλλειto ruleποιμαίνεινallπάνταtheτὰnationsἔθνηwithἐνa rodῥάβδῳof ironσιδηρᾷ·andκαὶwas caught upἡρπάσθηtheτὸchildτέκνονof herαὐτῆςtoπρὸςτὸνGodθεὸνandκαὶtoπρὸςtheτὸνthroneθρόνονof Himαὐτοῦ.
6Andκαὶtheἡwomanγυνὴfledἔφυγενintoεἰςtheτὴνwildernessἔρημον,whereὅπουshe hasἔχειthereἐκεῖa placeτόπονhaving been preparedἡτοιμασμένονbyἀπὸτοῦGodθεοῦ,so thatἵναthereἐκεῖthey should nourishτρέφωσινherαὐτὴνdaysἡμέραςone thousandχιλίαςtwo hundredδιακοσίαςsixtyἑξήκοντα.
7AndΚαὶthere wasἐγένετοwarπόλεμοςinἐντῷheavenοὐρανῷ,ὁMichaelΜιχαὴλandκαὶtheοἱangelsἄγγελοιof himαὐτοῦτοῦwarredπολεμῆσαιagainstμετὰtheτοῦdragonδράκοντος.andκαὶtheὁdragonδράκωνwarred [back]ἐπολέμησενandκαὶtheοἱangelsἄγγελοιof himαὐτοῦ,
8Andκαὶnotοὐκprevailἴσχυσεν,norοὐδὲa placeτόποςwas foundεὑρέθηfor themαὐτῶνany longerἔτιinἐντῷheavenοὐρανῷ.
9Andκαὶwas thrown [out]ἐβλήθηtheὁdragonδράκωνὁgreatμέγας,theὁserpentὄφιςὁancientἀρχαῖος,whoὁis calledκαλούμενος[the] devilΔιάβολοςandκαὶὁSatanΣατανᾶς,ὁdeceivingπλανῶνtheτὴνinhabited [world]οἰκουμένηνwholeὅλην—He was thrown downἐβλήθηtoεἰςtheτὴνearthγῆν,andκαὶtheοἱangelsἄγγελοιof himαὐτοῦwithμετ’himαὐτοῦwere thrown downἐβλήθησαν.
10AndΚαὶI heardἤκουσαa voiceφωνὴνgreatμεγάληνinἐντῷheavenοὐρανῷsayingλέγουσαν·NowἌρτιhave comeἐγένετοtheἡsalvationσωτηρίαandκαὶtheἡpowerδύναμιςandκαὶtheἡkingdomβασιλείαof theτοῦGodθεοῦof usἡμῶνandκαὶtheἡauthorityἐξουσίαtheτοῦChristχριστοῦof Himαὐτοῦ,becauseὅτιhas been thrown downἐβλήθηtheὁaccuserκατήγωρof theτῶνbrothersἀδελφῶνof usἡμῶν,the [one]ὁaccusingκατηγορῶνthemαὐτοὺςbeforeἐνώπιονtheτοῦGodθεοῦof usἡμῶνdayἡμέραςandκαὶnightνυκτός.
11Andκαὶtheyαὐτοὶhave overcomeἐνίκησανhimαὐτὸνby reasonδιὰof theτὸbloodαἷμαof theτοῦLambἀρνίουandκαὶby reason ofδιὰtheτὸνwordλόγονof theτῆςtestimonyμαρτυρίαςof themαὐτῶν,andκαὶnotοὐκthey have lovedἠγάπησανtheτὴνlifeψυχὴνof themαὐτῶνuntoἄχριdeathθανάτου·
12Because ofδιὰthisτοῦτοrejoiceεὐφραίνεσθε,youοἱheavensοὐρανοὶandκαὶthoseοἱinἐνthemαὐτοῖςdwellingσκηνοῦντες.Woe toοὐαὶtheτὴνearthγῆνandκαὶtheτὴνseaθάλασσαν,becauseὅτιhas come downκατέβηtheὁdevilδιάβολοςtoπρὸςyouὑμᾶς,havingἔχωνfuryθυμὸνgreatμέγαν,knowingεἰδὼςthatὅτιa shortὀλίγονtimeκαιρὸνhe hasἔχει.
13AndΚαὶwhenὅτεsawεἶδενtheὁdragonδράκωνthatὅτιhe had been thrown downἐβλήθηtoεἰςtheτὴνearthγῆν,he pursuedἐδίωξενtheτὴνwomanγυναῖκαwhoἥτιςhad brought forthἔτεκενtheτὸνmale [child]ἄρσενα.
14Andκαὶwere givenἐδόθησανto theτῇwomanγυναικὶtheαἱtwoδύοwingsπτέρυγεςof theτοῦeagleἀετοῦτοῦgreatμεγάλου,so thatἵναshe could flyπέτηταιintoεἰςtheτὴνwildernessἔρημονintoεἰςtheτὸνplaceτόπονof herαὐτῆς,whereὅπουshe is nourishedτρέφεταιthereἐκεῖa timeκαιρὸνandκαὶtimesκαιροὺςandκαὶhalfἥμισυa timeκαιροῦfromἀπὸ[the] faceπροσώπουof theτοῦserpentὄφεως.
15Andκαὶcastἔβαλενtheὁserpentὄφιςout ofἐκtheτοῦmouthστόματοςof himαὐτοῦafterὀπίσωtheτῆςwomanγυναικὸςwaterὕδωρasὡςa riverποταμόν,so thatἵναherαὐτὴνcarried away by a floodποταμοφόρητονhe might cause to beποιήσῃ.
16Andκαὶhelpedἐβοήθησενtheἡearthγῆtheτῇwomanγυναικί,andκαὶopenedἤνοιξενtheἡearthγῆtheτὸmouthστόμαof itαὐτῆςandκαὶswallowed upκατέπιενtheτὸνriverποταμὸνwhichὃνhad castἔβαλενtheὁdragonδράκωνout ofἐκtheτοῦmouthστόματοςof himαὐτοῦ·
17Andκαὶwas angryὠργίσθηtheὁdragonδράκωνwithἐπὶtheτῇwomanγυναικί,andκαὶwentἀπῆλθενto makeποιῆσαιwarπόλεμονwithμετὰtheτῶνrestλοιπῶνof theτοῦchildrenσπέρματοςof herαὐτῆς,τῶνkeepingτηρούντωνtheτὰςcommandmentsἐντολὰςτοῦof Godθεοῦandκαὶholdingἐχόντωνtheτὴνtestimonyμαρτυρίανof JesusἸησοῦ·
18Andκαὶhe stoodἐστάθηuponἐπὶtheτὴνsandἄμμονof theτῆςseaθαλάσσης.
