Matthew 13:22

22That whichὁnowδὲamongεἰςtheτὰςthornsἀκάνθαςhaving been sownσπαρείς,thisοὗτόςisἐστινthe [one]ὁtheτὸνwordλόγονhearingἀκούων,andκαὶtheἡcareμέριμνατοῦpresent ageαἰῶνοςthisτούτουandκαὶtheἡdeceitἀπάτητοῦof richesπλούτουchokeσυμπνίγειtheτὸνwordλόγον,andκαὶunfruitfulἄκαρποςit becomesγίνεται.

And that having been sown among the thorns, this is the one hearing the word, and the anxiety of this age and the deceit of riches choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.
