Luke 6:48

48Likeὅμοιόςhe isἐστινto a manἀνθρώπῳbuildingοἰκοδομοῦντιa houseοἰκίανwhoὃςdugἔσκαψενandκαὶdeepenedἐβάθυνενandκαὶlaidἔθηκενa foundationθεμέλιονonἐπὶtheτὴνrockπέτραν·a floodπλημμύρηςthenδὲhaving comeγενομένηςburst uponπροσέρηξενtheὁstreamποταμὸςtheτῇhouseοἰκίᾳthatἐκείνῃ,andκαὶnotοὐκwas ableἴσχυσενto shakeσαλεῦσαιitαὐτὴνbecauseδιὰτὸwellκαλῶςhad been builtοἰκοδομῆσθαιitαὐτήν.

He is like a man building a house, who dug and deepened and laid a foundation on the rock. And a flood having come, the river burst upon that house, and it was not able to shake it, because it [was] well built.
