Luke 20:6

6Ifἐὰνhoweverδὲwe should sayεἴπωμεν·FromἘξmenἀνθρώπων,theὁpeopleλαὸςallἅπαςwill stoneκαταλιθάσειusἡμᾶς,having been persuadedπεπεισμένοςforγάρthey areἐστινJohnἸωάννηνa prophetπροφήτηνto beεἶναι·

But if we should say, ‘From men,’ all the people will stone us, for they are persuaded [that] John is a prophet.”
