Hebrews 9:22

22Andκαὶalmostσχεδὸνwithἐνbloodαἵματιall thingsπάνταare purifiedκαθαρίζεταιaccording toκατὰtheτὸνlawνόμον,andκαὶapart fromχωρὶςblood-sheddingαἱματεκχυσίαςnotοὐthere isγίνεταιforgivenessἄφεσις.

And almost all things are purified with blood according to the law, and without blood-shedding there is no forgiveness.
