Hebrews 11:13

13InΚατὰfaithπίστινdiedἀπέθανονtheseοὗτοιallπάντες,notμὴreceivedλαβόντεςtheτὰςpromisesἐπαγγελίας,butἀλλὰfrom afarπόρρωθενthemαὐτὰςhaving seenἰδόντεςandκαὶhaving embraced [them]ἀσπασάμενοι,andκαὶhaving confessedὁμολογήσαντεςthatὅτιstrangersξένοιandκαὶsojournersπαρεπίδημοίthey areεἰσινonἐπὶtheτῆςearthγῆς.

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them from afar, and having welcomed [them], and having confessed that they are strangers and sojourners on the earth.
