Acts 8:1

1SaulΣαῦλοςnowδὲwas thereἦνconsentingσυνευδοκῶνto theτῇkillingἀναιρέσειof himαὐτοῦ.AroseἘγένετοthenδὲonἐνthatἐκείνῃτῇdayἡμέρᾳa persecutionδιωγμὸςgreatμέγαςagainstἐπὶtheτὴνchurchἐκκλησίανwhich [was]τὴνinἐνJerusalemἹεροσολύμοις·Allπάντεςthenδὲwere scatteredδιεσπάρησανthroughoutκατὰtheτὰςregionsχώραςτῆςof JudeaἸουδαίαςandκαὶSamariaΣαμαρείαςexceptπλὴνtheτῶνapostlesἀποστόλων.

And Saul was there consenting to his killing. And on that day a great persecution arose against the church that [was] in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout the regions of Judea and Samaria.
