Acts 27:42

42Of theτῶνnowδὲsoldiersστρατιωτῶν[the] planβουλὴwasἐγένετοthatἵναtheτοὺςprisonersδεσμώταςthey should killἀποκτείνωσιν,lestμήanyoneτιςhaving swum awayἐκκολυμβήσαςshould escapeδιαφύγῃ·

Now the plan of the soldiers was that they should kill the prisoners, lest anyone, having swum away, should escape.
