1 Peter 3:5

5In this wayοὕτωςforγάρformerlyποτεalsoκαὶtheαἱholyἅγιαιwomenγυναῖκεςαἱhopingἐλπίζουσαιinεἰςGodθεὸνused to adornἐκόσμουνthemselvesἑαυτάς,being subjectὑποτασσόμεναιto theτοῖςownἰδίοιςhusbandsἀνδράσιν,

For in this way formerly the holy women also hoping in God used to adorn themselves, being subject to [their] own husbands,
