1 Corinthians 6
1DareΤολμᾷanyoneτιςof youὑμῶνa matterπρᾶγμαhavingἔχωνagainstπρὸςtheτὸνotherἕτερονgo to lawκρίνεσθαιbeforeἐπὶtheτῶνunrighteousἀδίκων,andκαὶnotοὐχὶbeforeἐπὶtheτῶνsaintsἁγίων;
2Orἢnotοὐκknow youοἴδατεthatὅτιtheοἱsaintsἅγιοιtheτὸνworldκόσμονwill judgeκρινοῦσιν;Andκαὶifεἰbyἐνyouὑμῖνis to be judgedκρίνεταιtheὁworldκόσμος,unworthyἀνάξιοίare youἐστεof casesκριτηρίωνof the smallestἐλαχίστων;
3Notοὐκknow youοἴδατεthatὅτιangelsἀγγέλουςwe will judgeκρινοῦμεν,How much moreμήτιγεthe things of this lifeβιωτικά;
4The things of this lifeβιωτικὰindeedμὲνsoοὖνjudgment [as to]κριτήριαifἐὰνyou haveἔχητε,the [ones]τοὺςbeing despisedἐξουθενημένουςinἐνtheτῇchurchἐκκλησίᾳ,thoseτούτουςset you upκαθίζετε;
5Forπρὸςshameἐντροπὴνto youὑμῖνI say thisλέγω.Thusοὕτωςnotοὐκis thereἔνιamongἐνyouὑμῖνno oneοὐδεὶςa wise [man]σοφὸςwhoὃςwill be ableδυνήσεταιto decideδιακρῖναιinἀνὰbetweenμέσονtheτοῦbrotherἀδελφοῦof himαὐτοῦ,
6Insteadἀλλὰbrotherἀδελφὸςagainstμετὰbrotherἀδελφοῦgoes to lawκρίνεται,andκαὶthisτοῦτοbeforeἐπὶunbelieversἀπίστων;
7Alreadyἤδηindeedμὲνthereforeοὖνaltogetherὅλωςa defeatἥττημαfor youὑμῖνit isἐστινthatὅτιlawsuitsκρίματαyou haveἔχετεamongμεθ’one anotherἑαυτῶν·Because ofδιὰwhyτίnotοὐχὶratherμᾶλλονsuffer wrongἀδικεῖσθε;Because ofδιὰwhyτίnotοὐχὶratherμᾶλλονbe defraudedἀποστερεῖσθε;
8Butἀλλὰyouὑμεῖςdo wrongἀδικεῖτεandκαὶdefraudἀποστερεῖτε,andκαὶthese thingsτοῦτοto brothersἀδελφούς.
9OrἪnotοὐκknow youοἴδατεthatὅτι[the] unrighteous onesἄδικοιof Godθεοῦ[the] kingdomβασιλείανnotοὐwill inheritκληρονομήσουσιν;Notμὴbe deceivedπλανᾶσθε·neitherοὔτεthe sexually immoralπόρνοιnorοὔτεidolatersεἰδωλολάτραιnorοὔτεadulterersμοιχοὶnorοὔτεeffeminateμαλακοὶnorοὔτεhomosexualsἀρσενοκοῖται
10norοὔτεthievesκλέπταιnorοὔτεcovetersπλεονέκται,notοὐdrunkardsμέθυσοι,norοὐverbal abusersλοίδοροι,norοὐχswindlersἅρπαγες[the] kingdomβασιλείανof Godθεοῦwill inheritκληρονομήσουσιν.
11Andκαὶsuchταῦτάsome [of]τινεςyou wereἦτε·butἀλλὰyou were washedἀπελούσασθε,butἀλλὰyou were sanctifiedἡγιάσθητε,butἀλλὰyou were justifiedἐδικαιώθητεinἐνtheτῷnameὀνόματιof theτοῦLordκυρίουJesusἸησοῦandκαὶbyἐνtheτῷSpiritπνεύματιof theτοῦGodθεοῦof usἡμῶν.
12All thingsΠάνταto meμοιare lawfulἔξεστιν·butἀλλ’notοὐall thingsπάνταdo profitσυμφέρει.All thingsπάνταto meμοιare lawfulἔξεστιν·butἀλλ’notοὐκIἐγὼwill be masteredἐξουσιασθήσομαιbyὑπόanythingτινος.
13Theτὰfoodsβρώματαfor theτῇbellyκοιλίᾳ,andκαὶtheἡbellyκοιλίαtheτοῖςfor foodsβρώμασιν·ὁbutδὲGodθεὸςbothκαὶthisταύτηνandκαὶtheseταῦταwill destroyκαταργήσει.τὸandδὲthe body [is]σῶμαnotοὐτῇfor sexual immoralityπορνείᾳbutἀλλὰfor theτῷLordκυρίῳ,andκαὶtheὁLordκύριοςfor theτῷbodyσώματι·
14ὁAndδὲGodθεὸςbothκαὶtheτὸνLordκύριονhas raised upἤγειρενandκαὶusἡμᾶςwill raise outἐξεγερεῖbyδιὰtheτῆςpowerδυνάμεωςof Himαὐτοῦ.
15Notοὐκknow youοἴδατεthatὅτιtheτὰbodiesσώματαof youὑμῶνmembersμέληof ChristΧριστοῦareἐστιν;Having takenἄραςthenοὖνtheτὰmembersμέληof theτοῦChristΧριστοῦshall I makeποιήσω[them] of a prostituteπόρνηςmembersμέλη;Neverμὴmay it beγένοιτο.
16Orἢnotοὐκknow youοἴδατεthatὅτιthe [one]ὁbeing joinedκολλώμενοςto theτῇprostituteπόρνῃoneἓνbodyσῶμάisἐστιν;Will becomeἜσονταιforγάρ,it saysφησίν,theοἱtwoδύοintoεἰςfleshσάρκαoneμίαν.
17The [one]ὁhoweverδὲbeing joinedκολλώμενοςto theτῷLordκυρίῳoneἓνspiritπνεῦμάisἐστιν.
18Fleeφεύγετετὴνsexual immoralityπορνείαν·Everyπᾶνsinἁμάρτημαwhateverὃifἐὰνmight doποιήσῃa manἄνθρωποςoutsideἐκτὸςtheτοῦbodyσώματόςisἐστιν,the [one]ὁhoweverδὲsinning sexuallyπορνεύωνagainstεἰςtheτὸownἴδιονbodyσῶμαsinsἁμαρτάνει.
19Orἢnotοὐκknow youοἴδατεthatὅτιtheτὸbodyσῶμαof youὑμῶνa templeναὸςof theτοῦinἐνyouὑμῖνHolyἁγίουSpiritπνεύματόςisἐστιν,whomοὗyou haveἔχετεfromἀπὸGodθεοῦ;Andκαὶnotοὐκyou areἐστὲyour ownἑαυτῶν,
20you were boughtἠγοράσθητεforγὰρwith a priceτιμῆς·glorifyδοξάσατεthereforeδὴτὸνGodθεὸνinἐνtheτῷbodyσώματιof youὑμῶν.
