1 Corinthians 10:9

9Neitherμηδὲshould we testἐκπειράζωμενtheτὸνChristΧριστόν,asκαθώςsomeτινεςof themαὐτῶνtestedἐπείρασαν,andκαὶbyὑπὸτῶνserpentsὄφεωνwere destroyedἀπώλλυντο.

And we should not test Christ, as some of them tested, and were destroyed by serpents.
