Matthew 27:20

20ΟἱAndδὲthe chief priestsἀρχιερεῖςandκαὶtheοἱeldersπρεσβύτεροιpersuadedἔπεισανtheτοὺςcrowdsὄχλουςthatἵναthey should ask forαἰτήσωνταιτὸνBarabbasΒαραββᾶντὸνandδὲJesusἸησοῦνshould destroyἀπολέσωσιν.

But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowds that they should ask for Barabbas, and should destroy Jesus.
