Matthew 19:8

8He saysλέγειto themαὐτοῖςὅτιMosesΜωϋσῆςin view ofπρὸςtheτὴνhardness of heartσκληροκαρδίανof youὑμῶνallowedἐπέτρεψενyouὑμῖνto divorceἀπολῦσαιtheτὰςwivesγυναῖκαςof youὑμῶν,from [the]ἀπ’beginningἀρχῆςhoweverδὲnotοὐwas [it]γέγονενthis wayοὕτως.

He says to them, “Moses, for your⁺ hardness of heart, allowed you⁺ to divorce your⁺ wives; but it has not been this way from the beginning.
