Matthew 14:5

5Althoughκαὶwishingθέλωνhimαὐτὸνto killἀποκτεῖναιhe fearedἐφοβήθηtheτὸνmultitudeὄχλον,becauseὅτιasὡςa prophetπροφήτηνhimαὐτὸνthey were holdingεἶχον.

And wanting to kill him, he feared the crowd, because they were holding him as a prophet.
