Luke 16:15

15AndκαὶHe saidεἶπενto themαὐτοῖς·YouὙμεῖςareἐστεthoseοἱjustifyingδικαιοῦντεςthemselvesἑαυτοὺςbeforeἐνώπιοντῶνmenἀνθρώπων,ὁbutδὲGodθεὸςknowsγινώσκειtheτὰςheartsκαρδίαςof youὑμῶν·forὅτιthat whichτὸamongἐνmenἀνθρώποις[is] exaltedὑψηλὸν[is] an abominationβδέλυγμαbeforeἐνώπιοντοῦGodθεοῦ.

And He said to them, “You⁺ are the ones justifying themselves before men, but God knows your⁺ hearts, because that which [is] high among men [is] an abomination before God.
