John 18:31

31Saidεἶπενthereforeοὖνto themαὐτοῖςὁPilateΠιλᾶτος·TakeΛάβετεHimαὐτὸνyourselvesὑμεῖς,andκαὶaccording toκατὰtheτὸνlawνόμονof youὑμῶνjudgeκρίνατεHimαὐτόν.Saidεἶπονto himαὐτῷtheοἱJewsἸουδαῖοι·To usἩμῖνnotοὐκit is permittedἔξεστινto put to deathἀποκτεῖναιno oneοὐδένα·

Therefore Pilate said to them, “Take Him yourselves and judge Him according to your⁺ law.” The Jews said to him, “It is not permitted to us to put anyone to death,”
