John 11:55

55WasἮνnowδὲnearἐγγὺςtheτὸPassoverπάσχαof theτῶνJewsἸουδαίων,andκαὶwent upἀνέβησανmanyπολλοὶtoεἰςJerusalemἹεροσόλυμαout ofἐκtheτῆςregionχώραςbeforeπρὸtheτοῦPassoverπάσχαso thatἵναthey might purifyἁγνίσωσινthemselvesἑαυτούς.

Now the Passover of the Jews was near, and many went up to Jerusalem from the country before the Passover, so that they might purify themselves.
