John 10:6

6Thisταύτηντὴνallegoryπαροιμίανspokeεἶπενto themαὐτοῖςὁJesusἸησοῦς·theyἐκεῖνοιhoweverδὲnotοὐκknewἔγνωσανwhatτίναit wasἦνthatἃHe was sayingἐλάλειto themαὐτοῖς.

Jesus spoke to them this allegory, but they did not know what it was that He was saying to them.
