Colossians 2

1I wantΘέλωforγὰρyouὑμᾶςto knowεἰδέναιhow greatἡλίκονa struggleἀγῶναI am havingἔχωforὑπὲρyouὑμῶνandκαὶthoseτῶνinἐνLaodiceaΛαοδικείᾳandκαὶas many asὅσοιnotοὐχhave seenἑόρακανtheτὸfaceπρόσωπόνof meμουinἐν[the] fleshσαρκί,

2thatἵναmay be encouragedπαρακληθῶσινtheαἱheartsκαρδίαιof themαὐτῶν,having been knit togetherσυμβιβασθέντεςinἐνloveἀγάπῃandκαὶtoεἰςallπᾶν[the] richesπλοῦτοςof theτῆςfull assuranceπληροφορίαςτῆςof understandingσυνέσεως,toεἰς[the] knowledgeἐπίγνωσινof theτοῦmysteryμυστηρίουτοῦof Godθεοῦ,[which is] ChristΧριστοῦ,

3inἐνwhomᾧareεἰσινallπάντεςtheοἱtreasuresθησαυροὶτῆςof wisdomσοφίαςandκαὶof knowledgeγνώσεωςhiddenἀπόκρυφοι.

4ThisτοῦτοI sayλέγωso thatἵναno oneμηδεὶςyouὑμᾶςmight deludeπαραλογίζηταιbyἐνpersuasive speechπιθανολογίᾳ.

5Ifεἰtrulyγὰρindeedκαὶin theτῇfleshσαρκὶI am absentἄπειμι,yetἀλλὰτῷin spiritπνεύματιwithσὺνyouὑμῖνI amεἰμι,rejoicingχαίρωνandκαὶseeingβλέπωνyourὑμῶντὴνgood orderτάξινandκαὶtheτὸfirmnessστερέωμαof theτῆςinεἰςChristΧριστὸνfaithπίστεωςof youὑμῶν.

6Just asὩςthereforeοὖνyou have receivedπαρελάβετετὸνChristΧριστὸνJesusἸησοῦνtheτὸνLordκύριον,inἐνHimαὐτῷwalkπεριπατεῖτε,

7having been rootedἐρριζωμένοιandκαὶbeing built upἐποικοδομούμενοιinἐνHimαὐτῷandκαὶbeing strengthened inβεβαιούμενοιtheτῇfaithπίστειjust asκαθὼςyou were taughtἐδιδάχθητε,aboundingπερισσεύοντεςwithἐνthanksgivingεὐχαριστίᾳ.

8Take heedΒλέπετεlestμήanyoneτιςyouὑμᾶςthere will beἔσταιὁtaking captiveσυλαγωγῶνthroughδιὰτῆςphilosophyφιλοσοφίαςandκαὶemptyκενῆςdeceitἀπάτηςaccording toκατὰtheτὴνtraditionπαράδοσιντῶνof menἀνθρώπων,according toκατὰtheτὰprinciplesστοιχεῖαof theτοῦworldκόσμουandκαὶnotοὐaccording toκατὰChristΧριστόν·

9ForὅτιinἐνHimαὐτῷdwellsκατοικεῖallπᾶνtheτὸfullnessπλήρωμαof theτῆςDeityθεότητοςbodilyσωματικῶς,

10andκαὶyou areἐστὲinἐνHimαὐτῷcompleteπεπληρωμένοι,whoὅςisἐστινtheἡheadκεφαλὴof allπάσηςruleἀρχῆςandκαὶauthorityἐξουσίας,

11inἐνwhomᾧalsoκαὶyou were circumcisedπεριετμήθητεwith [the] circumcisionπεριτομῇmade without handsἀχειροποιήτῳinἐνtheτῇremovalἀπεκδύσειof theτοῦbodyσώματοςof theτῆςfleshσαρκός,inἐνtheτῇcircumcisionπεριτομῇτοῦof ChristΧριστοῦ,

12having been buried withσυνταφέντεςHimαὐτῷinἐντῷbaptismβαπτισμῷ,inἐνwhichᾧalsoκαὶyou were raised with [Him]συνηγέρθητεthroughδιὰtheτῆςfaithπίστεωςof theτῆςworkingἐνεργείαςτοῦof Godθεοῦthe [One]τοῦhaving raisedἐγείραντοςHimαὐτὸνout fromἐκthe deadνεκρῶν·

13Andκαὶyouὑμᾶςdeadνεκροὺςbeingὄνταςinἐνtheτοῖςtrespassesπαραπτώμασινandκαὶin theτῇuncircumcisionἀκροβυστίᾳof theτῆςfleshσαρκὸςof youὑμῶν,He made alive togetherσυνεζωοποίησενyouὑμᾶςwithσὺνHimαὐτῷ·having forgivenχαρισάμενοςusἡμῖνallπάνταtheτὰtransgressionsπαραπτώματα,

14having blotted outἐξαλείψαςtheτὸagainstκαθ’usἡμῶνhandwritingχειρόγραφονin theτοῖςdecreesδόγμασινwhichὃwasἦνadverseὑπεναντίονto usἡμῖν,andκαὶitαὐτὸHe has takenἦρκενout ofἐκtheτοῦwayμέσουhaving nailedπροσηλώσαςitαὐτὸto theτῷcrossσταυρῷ·

15Having disarmedἀπεκδυσάμενοςtheτὰςrulersἀρχὰςandκαὶtheτὰςauthoritiesἐξουσίαςHe made a show [of them]ἐδειγμάτισενinἐνpublicπαρρησίᾳ,having triumphedθριαμβεύσαςover themαὐτοὺςinἐνitαὐτῷ.

16NotΜὴthereforeοὖνanyoneτιςyouὑμᾶςlet judgeκρινέτωin regard toἐνfoodβρώσειorἢin regard toἐνdrinkπόσειorἢinἐνregardμέρειto a feastἑορτῆςorἢa New MoonνουμηνίαςorἢSabbathsσαββάτων,

17whichἅareἐστινa shadowσκιὰthe thingsτῶνcomingμελλόντων,theτὸhoweverδὲbody [is]σῶματοῦof ChristΧριστοῦ.

18No oneμηδεὶςyouὑμᾶςlet disqualifyκαταβραβευέτωdelightingθέλωνinἐνhumilityταπεινοφροσύνῃandκαὶ[the] worshipθρησκείᾳof theτῶνangelsἀγγέλων,whichἃhe has seenἑόρακενdetailingἐμβατεύων,vainlyεἰκῇbeing puffed upφυσιούμενοςbyὑπὸtheτοῦmindνοὸςof theτῆςfleshσαρκὸςof himαὐτοῦ,

19andκαὶnotοὐholding fastκρατῶνto theτὴνheadκεφαλήν,fromἐξwhomοὗallπᾶνtheτὸbodyσῶμαbyδιὰtheτῶνjointsἁφῶνandκαὶligamentsσυνδέσμωνbeing suppliedἐπιχορηγούμενονandκαὶbeing knit togetherσυμβιβαζόμενονincreasesαὔξειwith theτὴνincreaseαὔξησιντοῦof Godθεοῦ.

20IfΕἰyou have diedἀπεθάνετεwithσὺνChristΧριστῷaway fromἀπὸtheτῶνprinciplesστοιχείωνof theτοῦworldκόσμου,whyτίas ifὡςlivingζῶντεςinἐν[the] worldκόσμῳdo you submit to decreesδογματίζεσθε·

21NotΜὴyou should handleἅψῃNotμηδὲyou should tasteγεύσῃNotμηδὲyou should touchθίγῃς,

22whichἅareἐστινallπάνταuntoεἰςdecayφθορὰνwith theτῇuseἀποχρήσει,according toκατὰtheτὰcommandmentsἐντάλματαandκαὶteachingsδιδασκαλίαςτῶνof menἀνθρώπων;

23whichἅτινάareἐστινan appearanceλόγονindeedμὲνhavingἔχονταof wisdomσοφίαςinἐνself-imposed worshipἐθελοθρησκίᾳandκαὶhumilityταπεινοφροσύνῃandκαὶharsh treatmentἀφειδίᾳof [the] bodyσώματος,notοὐκofἐνhonorτιμῇa certainτινιagainstπρὸς[the] indulgenceπλησμονὴνof theτῆςfleshσαρκός.
